Congratulations to a team of 4 who found the horseshoe in a grassy area along the future Mill Town State Trail (MTST) behind Huron Court and Lia Drive along the Spring Creek corridor (see the photo gallery for a map). Around 8:20 this morning the following winners found the shoe deep in the grass amongst a large scrum of hunters. Congrats to Mike Nowak, Josh Ellingson, Ed Brodie and Todd Pitman. They all had registered their buttons and will receive the full $2000 prize. And thank you to the 5 donors who covered the purse payout. The DJJD Committee, Edina Realty, Merchants Bank, Century-21 Atwood and Cannon River Tree Care! Ed and Josh found the shoe in 2021 when it was in Heywood park.
What a hunt. The weather was almost perfect and people really got outside and around town more than ever.
