*Shamble: All members of a team tee off and the best ball of the four tee shots is selected. All players move their balls to the spot of the best ball. From this point, the hole is played out at stroke play, with all members of the team playing their own ball into the hole. We will use the two players with the lowest scores on each hole. Handicaps will be used.

Dear Golfer ,

The Defeat of Jesse James Days Committee invites you to the annual “Official” DJJD Golf Tournament.

This is a great opportunity to invite your friends, business colleagues and relatives from out of town to enjoy the hospitality of Northfield and the Defeat of Jesse James Days Committee. In the event you want to participate and do no have an established handicap, we will use the Scramble format with special prizes for casual golfers.

Thursday is traditionally referred to as “Townie Night” and provides an opportunity for you to see your Northfield friends and neighbors downtown after the tournament. Any funds raised will go to defray the cost of Minnesota’s 3rd Largest Celebration…the Defeat of Jesse James Days.

- Permanent plaque with winners name hung at the Northfield Golf Club
- Priority for next years shamble
